My first attempt at an animated gif to illustrate a little spec idea I had for Anusol pile and hemorrhoid cream. The a5 scratchcard would be placed in men’s and women’s health magazines, but would also work as an animated banner ad. Click to play.

Beautiful Borneo
This post has nothing whatsoever to do with work, but as anyone who’s ever watched The Shining will tell you, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
So, with that in mind, I thought I’d share with you a few of my favourite pictures from my travels around Malaysian Borneo in January 2011.
The absolute highlight of the trip and something I will never, ever forget, was the sight of a wild Orangutan climbing in the canopy on the banks of the Kinabatangan River just before sundown. To say it was magical doesn’t even begin to do it justice.
Unfortunately these sightings are becoming all too rare, as their natural habitat continues to be cleared to make way for palm oil plantations. All is not lost though, as there are some wonderful charities who are working hard to protect the rainforest and save the Orangutans. You can read more about one of those charities here.
Life’s a pitch…
Bless me WordPress for I have sinned. It has been six months since my last blog post.
What can I say? There is no excuse other than to say I have been very, very busy.
Anyway, I’m back now, and I hope to have lots of exciting new work to show you in the very near future. Most of which is the result of winning a pitch for a large electronics brand with my friends at Why Design Media. Watch this space for more details.
