I designed this typographical poster for the office of my friends over at Why Digital Media in Leeds.
Forths asked me to design them some courtesy cards to send to clients following a meeting.
I came up with three designs with varying degrees of formality in their tone of voice, giving them the option to match a to their individual client relationships.
KC and Hull City AFC were founded in the very same year and have enjoyed a successful partnership ever since. This DPS press ad highlights this affiliation by making a play on one of the City fans favourite chants.
This is the first installment of what I hope will be a regular feature on my blog. Spec of the Month gives me the opportunity to showcase my talents as a creative, free from the constraints of the “real world”. Speculative press ad for Nurofen painkillers
To support their new identity Forths asked me to do a series of of press adverts to promote their brand values. These ads were placed in industry publications and have had an incredible response.
Most men are going to need a pretty damned good reason to swap their baggies for a banana hammock and this speculative ad campaign for Speedo gave them just that.
This campaign for the Gillette Rugby League Tri-Nations exploded onto 48 sheets, 6 sheets and press in host cities including London, Manchester and Leeds in November 2005. My decision to feature a star player from each of the 3 competing on specially designed fireworks certainly ignited a lot of interest as record attendances were seen at many of the grounds.
